Gayathri Ananthanarayanan is currently an
Assistant Professor at the
Department of Computer Science
and Engineering in Indian
Institute of Technology Dharwad, Karnataka.
She has completed her Ph.D from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi under
the
supervision of Prof M.Balakrishnan and Prof. Smruti R. Sarangi.
Her doctoral
dissertation dealt with the study and analysis of
the different factors that affect the scaling trends of many core
processors. Her research mainly focused on studies linking various
factors such as Performance, Power consumption, Temperature and Process
Variations.
After completing her Ph.D, she was a Post doctoral Fellow at the School of Computing, National University of Singapore. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Instrumentation and a Master's Degree in Embedded Systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, India.
Her research interests lie in the broad areas of computer architecture and embedded systems. Currently, her research focuses on Hardware Performance analysis, Efficient deployment of Edge-AI applications on Heterogenous Multi-processor Platforms (HMPSoCs) and security aspects of AI applications in the context of Advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
