I am an assistant professor at the Department of Mathematics in IIT Dharwad, Karnataka, India. My academic activities include teaching and research. My research interest is in graph theory with a particular focus on graph homomorphisms and colorings. More details about my teaching and research can be found here and here, respectively.
Previously, I was an assistant professor at the Department of Computer Science in RKMVERI Belur Math, India. I was there from March 2017 to December 2018. During that time, I taught courses from both M.Sc (Computer Science) and M.Sc (Data Science) programs.
Prior to that, I was a post doctoral fellow at the Department of Computer Science and Automation in IISc Bangalore, India from October 2016 to February 2017. There my local mentor was Prof. Sunil Chandran. I held a post doctoral position at the Theoretical Statistics and Mathematics Unit, in ISI Bangalore, India from January 2016 to September 2016. I had moved there from a post doctoral position at the Advanced Computing and Microelectronics Unit in ISI Kolkata, India from March 2014 to December 2015. There my local mentor was Prof. Sandip Das.
I was a Ph.D. student from January 2011 to February 2014 at LaBRI in University of Bordeaux, France. My main supervisor was Prof. Eric Sopena. I had two co-supervisors: Prof. Andre Raspaud and Prof. Arnaud Pecher. My Ph.D. thesis was a "A contribution to the theory of graph homomorphisms and colorings". A softcopy of my Ph.D. thesis can be found here.
